Alisa Gvozdeva

In her practice Alisa finds a certain state of mind which could be defined as meditation. The paradox is that the artist works actively, but simultaneously enters a state where no decisions could be made. Thanks to that state the artist is able to disconnect from the rational and gain the unity and the satisfaction of a clear mind. Thanks to this practice the subjects of her works could be as well the reflection of reality as subconscious worlds with all of their architypical details.

Alisa graduated SPbU's Faculty of Liberal arts and sciences program of Cognitive research. Right now Alisa creates canvases with complicated composition and ceramic objects.
