*The kaleidoscopes are made from found slides cut into pieces and out into the optic instrument. Originally these images were the means of capturing personal memory - family scenes, trips or routine episodes. After the cut they lose their original narrative and start to make new combinations of images which are impossible to replicate.

The work references the mechanism of storing visual memory - the archive exists here not as a fixed number of images, but as a systems of constant restructuring. The slides stop being a document and become a medium where what matters is not the narrative, but the process of decay, melting together and repeated connection of images.*
