VSEVOLOD ABAZOV

Vsevolod Abazov is an artist, member of the TOY team, resident of Tihaya studio. His experience of being part of a community of Nizhniy Novgorod based artists is reflected in his practice, part of which is interaction with urban space. His studio wotk includes painting, graphics and objects.
Vsevolod's artistic method is characterised by everyday objects and images' appropriation and references to contemporary urban folklore and jargon. The author pays attention to sculpture as a medium and to its visual and interactive characteristics.
Lives and works in Nizhniy Novgorod.
